The Crystal Charity Ball ladies have still three weeks before their mega-fundraiser on Saturday, December 6, and they’re already planning for CCB 2016. Yup, you read that right — two years from now! Word just arrived that Christie Carter has been tapped to head up the 2016 team of 100 women to raise loads and loads of money for nonprofits benefiting area children.
A member of CCB since 2006, Christie’s resume sounds like she could head up a Fortune 500. She’s been president of the Junior League of Dallas, Genesis Women’s Shelter and Dallas CASA Children’s Council. In addition to serving on the board of The Senior Source and Dallas Child and Family Guidance Center, she has served as underwriting chair for the Salvation Army Luncheon, the Senior Source and the CASA Capital Campaign and underwriting co-chair for 2013 Celebrating Women.
Whew! That’s just a smidgen of her leadership within the fundraising community. Looks like the tradition of amazing leadership is safely in place for CCB.
