Despite the 2022 Crystal Charity Ball being just a month away, the committee of 100 is already looking to the future of fundraising for Dallas County children’s non-profits.
With CCB Chair Susan Farris nearing completion of her year-long fundraising and 2023 CCB Chair Angie Kadesky preparing to take over the group’s leadership, it was just revealed that fundraising vet Cheryl Joyner has accepted the roles of 2023 CCB Chair-Elect and 2024 CCB Chair.

In addition to having chaired a number of CCB committees (Underwriting, Silent Auction, Casino Gifts and Prizes, Ball and Fashion Show Contribution Tickets and Ball Treasurer) since joining the organization in 2015, Cheryl “has been the Underwriting Chair for Baylor’s 2019 Celebrating Women Luncheon, Live Auction Chair for Ursuline Academy’s Mardi Gras Gala and Gala Chair for the Jesuit Auction.”
Her leadership roles have also included serving as president of the Junior League of Collin County and on the boards of Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas and Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep.
The selection of the 2023 CCB Chair-Elect was made from nominations submitted by the membership to the 2023 Leadership Committee, including active members (Heather Esping, Cara French, Susan Glassmoyer, Amy Hegi, Mary Martha Pickens, Lisa Rocchio and Candace Winslow) and former ball chairs (Cynthia Mitchell, Vicki Chapman, Robyn Conlon, Claire Emanuelson, Michal Powell and Aileen Pratt).
Congratulations to Cheryl, CCB and the Dallas County children’s non-profits.
